One of the sillier ironies of this whole thing is the giant telecom companies whining that net neutrality laws are “too much government regulation” and “restrict the free market.” Their whole plan is to leverage the broadband pseudo-monopolies they have now thanks to government regulation - many people currently only have two choices for broadband provider, some only one.
