problem: the Camry doesn’t start unless you touch a wire to the battery after turning the key. this is a hassle.

solution: don’t fix the problem (what do you think i am, a mechanic?) - run a wire to a switch so you can do it all without getting out of the car.

the next picture has the new wires highlit in red.

1. one wire is attached to the starter
2. another is attached to the battery
3. and they run together up up through a crack between the hood and the door hinges

all without anything being visibly wrong from the outside…
