Steve Buscemi: “These Riki’s bars were real. But they’re no longer around. Right?”
Jim Strause: “The Riki’s went under. Yep. Ricki’s one, two and three are all gone.
SB: “That’s sad. i mean, are they still bars?”
JS: “Actually, no. Main Street’s become kinda grim.”
Come back home, Jim. Main Street has never looked less grim. (And i know at least Ricki’s one is still a bar - the White Horse lounge is a sketchy little place, but they donated props for our most recent show at NWA).

um, yeah… and Constant Spring is definitely thriving, along with the Blue Gill, the Brew, Rachels, Il Forno, the Wine Bar, Gift of Gab, Jewell’s Boutique, Shoobedoos, the Farmer’s Market, and, of course, New World Arts and the four arts-related businesses it houses. Jim Strouse, read this blog. And then maybe spend a little time in the town you think you know. How irritating.
