					<description>I love the story of the dolls being put away, sad though it is.  I think that story is a good little window into the complexities of gender acquisition and the like--and it's stories like that that I think of when my friends who are parents start trying to tell me that gender is all, completely 'hard wired'--even stuff like 'women nurture and men don't' kind of stuff.
